FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do we get started using your apnea monitor data management service?
Just sign and return the Dealer Services Agreement. The required forms then need to be loaded on your computer.
How do we get it to you?
By e-mail. The data file that contains the data from the monitor and the patient information file are attached to an e-mail and sent to download@infascan.com. If you do not have access to e-mail, copy monitor data file and patient information file to a CD and send by courier.
Which monitors can you download and analyze?
Any apnea monitor that can record waveform data.
How much will it cost us?
Nothing unless you choose to send the monitor data file by courier.
Who files the insurance?
We do.
What if the patient has no insurance or is private pay?
Then you may choose to drop the patient from the program or InfaScan will bill you for the service and you then bill the patient.
Who interprets the data?
Andre Muelenaer, MD, pediatric pulmonologist.
Do you send the final report to the physician?
Yes, if you provide us with his/her fax number. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting the report to the physician.
Do we get a report?
Yes.
What is your turnaround time?
24 hours.
Is your interpreting physician available by telephone for discussion?
Yes
Do you also analyze and interpret sleep recordings?
Yes, we do.
Can we get an emergency report if we need it?
Yes, we can give you a preliminary report within hours of receipt of the download. Just let us know ahead of time what you need and where we need to send the report.
