Cynthia Goins, RRT

CYNTHIA GOINS, RRT, is the president of InfaScan Diagnostic Services and has been with the company since its inception in 1981. Her background is in pediatric and neonatal intensive care. She received the majority of her training in pneumogram analysis from Dorothy Kelly, MD and is one of the most experienced professionals in her field.

Dr. Muelenaer is President of Triangle Apnea Consultants, Inc.(TAC), a professional corporation established in February 2001. TAC specializes in review and interpretation of data from event recording monitors and pneumograms.

The benefits of this service are well documented in the medical literature and include shortened duration of monitoring, appropriate changes in alarm parameters, and recognition of continued problems requiring immediate intervention.

Most general pediatricians and family practitioners are unable or unwilling to provide review and interpretation of data from these monitors. This requires additional training and experience in this highly specialized area of medicine. Most interpreting physicians are board certified pediatric pulmonologists or neonatologists.
